This is the first episode of comics set in Mass Effect universe, months after we - me and MAC - have started working on it. Comics tell the story of ex-Alliance soldier finding his paths in unfriendly Terminus System, living day by day working as individual mercenary and being hired by various employers. Until he meets his old Alliance buddy, who offers him new opportunity. The one not including Alliance service of course. Some rich salarian is founding a new "delivery and security" service, which main character will lead.

In accordance to Polish law, universities have the privilege of publishing theses for 6 months from a defense date. This period has passed recently for me, thus I have decided to publish my master thesis. Why would I allow it to rot uselessly in the archives anyway?

Recently I got inspiration to learn making gifs out of movies. It took me a quick look at my video archive to find some gif-worthy clips. In the next step I've launched Windows Live Movie Maker. And here was the first problem - I couldn't find a way to crop video (to remove some parts in width and height dimensions - limiting vid on time axis was simple). So I've checked the Internet and found a free application allowing me to crop my clips (Avidemux 2.6). Then I've learned how to use it, created .avi file and uploaded it to website making gifs without adding "watermark". Bam - another problem. The quality of gained gif was very limited. Another time I had to browse the Internet and I found Free Video to GIF Converter. From then it was like a piece of cake. By using this method I've created a dozen of gifs, from which I've selected some (7) and published them on my website:

And yet another example on how long forecasts are not reliable. According to news #40 the next issue of LAC was to be released in 2014/2015 year. Surprise, surprise! Sketches made in the middle of year 2011 have been finally transformed into next episode of Los Alamos Comics!
